The Indian cricket team might be preparing for their T20I tri-series involving Sri Lanka and Bangladesh but skipper Virat Kohli has been granted a much-needed rest for the entire tour of the Island nation, along with 5 other senior players including MS Dhoni, considering the extent of fatigue that he had endured after playing 11 of the 12 matches during the South Africa tour. Away from cricket, Virat spent some quality time with his newlywed wife Anushka Sharma, with whom the 29-year-old attended the screening of her movie Pari.
Virat and Anushka are one of the most talked about couples in B-town and the display of their love towards each other in South Africa has given other couples major relationship goals. While Kohli famously kissed the ring he wears around his neck, after scoring a century in the 3rd Test, Anushka has been cheering for him with regular Instagram stories. The Indian cricket team captain also shared a throwback picture for his love, just a few days before arriving back home in India.
Now that Kohli can afford some personal time, he had reportedly organised a special screening for Anushka as the horror flick Pari which releases in cinemas on the occasion of Holi (March 2).
The film, which is Anushka's third production under her banner Clean Slate Films, is directed by debutante Prosit Roy. It also features Parambrata Chatterjee, Rajat Kapoor and Ritabhari Chakraborty. The makers also released a motion poster of the film while not revealing much about the plot.
Anushka has previously produced "NH 10" and "Phillauri". Both the films featured her in the lead role. "Pari" also has KriArj Entertainment as one of the producers.
In the first look released on June 13 last year, the actor, who played a friendly ghost in "Phillauri", gave some serious haunting vibes. The film was initially supposed to be released on February 9 but later the date was postponed to March 2.
